Ribble Farm Fare, based in Longridge, Lancashire, is a family run business specialising in fruit and vegetables. Roger and Richard Coulston successfully run the business, along with their fully committed management team and 90 strong workforce.
Roger is in charge of the day-to-day running of the business, which includes dealing with existing and new clients. Richard runs the night shift and deals with the logistics of the business.
Roger and Richard’s father David Coulston, selling fruit and vegetables door-to-door, founded the business in 1964.
We pride ourselves in working with a customer's individual needs, should it be bespoke products, invoicing or delivery times. Our hands-on, flexible approach, has played a large part in our success today. Over the past three years our employment level has increased by 50%, employing primarily local people.
Over the years we have built up a reputation of offering a service which is second to none whilst providing all of our customers with excellent quality produce at competitive prices. Wherever possible we endeavour to buy locally grown produce, from Lancashire and the surrounding areas, enabling us to support British farmers.

At Ribble Farm Fare we believe customer service is as important as the quality and freshness of our produce. We offer a friendly and reliable service to supply all your daily requirements.
Our experienced and friendly sales team are always on hand to help with any queries and to make the ordering of your produce easier. Orders are also received via fax and out of hours by an answering machine – giving a 24-hour ordering service. All orders are important to us - no order is too big or too small.
We have a stringent quality control procedure, guaranteeing that all produce that leaves our premises is of the highest quality. Our team of friendly and experienced drivers provide a fast and efficient delivery service. We aim to deliver at a time that best suits your business.
The majority of our products are sourced locally: potatoes, brasicas and all root vegetables are grown on farms covering the Lancashire and Cheshire areas. Milk and local cheeses are produced from cows grazing the fields and fells around the Longridge area. Eggs are supplied either Lion stamped or free range and are produced from locally farmed chickens. All yoghurts are manufactured from local farms surrounding our business. Like every fruit and vegetable business when the weather doesn’t permit us to buy locally we source produce a little further afield.
At Ribble Farm Fare we supply fruit, vegetables and all our other range of produce to a wide variety of customers: schools, universities, hotels, restaurants, a selection of football clubs and other sporting venues.
We also work alongside a number of food service companies and are registered TUCO (The University Caterers Organisation Ltd) and as an NHS supplier.
